TAME Mid-term review: a milestone

Lille, France – The TAME network reached a major milestone this month with its mid-term review meeting, a pivotal event that underscored the network’s commitment to breaking down barriers in medical research through mobility, collaboration, and innovation. This gathering not only reinforced TAME’s role as a hub for scientific excellence in Europe but also provided a platform to assess progress, share insights, and chart the path forward.

The meeting was attended by the TAME Europe Project Officer, who provided valuable feedback and guidance to ensure the network’s activities align with its ambitious goals. This review was an opportunity to evaluate the progress made so far and to refine strategies for the remaining duration of the project.

A highlight of the event was the participation of all early-stage researchers, who had the opportunity to introduce themselves, their backgrounds, and their individual research projects. Their presentations showcased the diversity and depth of talent within the TAME network, as well as the innovative work being conducted across Europe.

Following their presentations, the ESRs remained in Lille for an intensive training module, led by TAME’s industrial beneficiaries. This module fostered cross-disciplinary learning, equipping the researchers with new skills and perspectives to advance their projects.

“Seeing our early-stage researchers present their work and engage with industry experts was incredibly inspiring. We’re excited to build on this momentum as we move forward.” -said Isabelle Landrieu, director at CNRS and coordinator of the TAME network.
